Made From Scratch

Doing the comic strips is a bit of fun for me. I enjoy the process of creating something from scratch. First I start out with a basic idea for a character and I play around until I come up with something I like. Then I try to think up scenarios for them in the strips.

Of course, each of the strips has to have a punch line of sorts and I try to do them all within four frames. So it's usually three frames for the setup and the fourth frame is reserved for the punchline.

Sometimes I will have a continuing story that is going on and I have to try to do something within that framework while trying to deliver a punch line in the fourth frame. So there is a bit of a challenge at times but, like I said, I like doing it. But it all starts with a few ideas and then I make it all from scratch.

Meet the Piddler

There is a new villain in town and his name is the Piddler. the Piddler likes to do such dastardly deeds as peeing on innocent people from off of rooftops. fortunately, we have the team of superheroes we call the Dysfunctionals to help keep this guy and his shenanigans in check.

The Piddler first appeared in the Punksters.net comic strip number 111 but was first referred to in strip number 110.

Most villains or criminals in general are motivated by money, in that they rob people, or motivated by anger. This guy just likes to pee on people from rooftops. That's apparently how he gets his kicks. Who really knows what his motivations are but it's beyond my areas of expertise. After all, I am not a psychologist. I'm just the guy that does the comic strips. Below are the two comic strips I referred to above. Just click on them to view them at full size.
